The position will assist the Vice President, Commercial of the Offshore Business Unit and operations senior management in developing the regional and business units’ strategy and strategic initiatives (including M&A) through performance of research, analysis and reporting, including participation in presentations. The position will also support investor relations activities in the US (as requested by the Group Investor relations department located in Paris) including research into local and regional markets, competition, and clients.
Owns the coordination and completion of the Annual Strategic Planning Review cycle and ensures the completion of the offshore and onshore business segments’ annual updates of strategic initiatives.
Completes market research, market analysis, data mining, and reporting to support of the strategic initiatives of the three business segments.
Obtains and analyzes information and works together with business unit senior management in order to conceptualize and define plans for market growth.
Presents market information and comprehensive business plans to management to improve company position in the marketplace through enhanced capabilities or acquisitions.
Participates in all acquisition and joint venture planning and analysis including evaluations of strategic fit, business valuations and internal pitches.
Provides support to management in the deal execution phase.
Special projects related to strategy as defined by the Vice President, Commercial of the Offshore Business Unit.
MBA in Finance, Economic, Accounting or related field.
7-10 years of related experience.
5 years preferred in related industry.
